Business to Business advertising is the most common term for this type of advertising. In this type of advertising, one company usually promotes its goods or services to other businesses that use the same or similar goods or services. In other words, the advertising company should make the goods that the other business needs for its operations or productions. For example, some small mineral water businesses hire outside companies to package their bottles, make the caps for the bottles, print their names on the covers, and other things. This is why ads for companies that make bottles, caps, and outer packaging paper can work.

Any business, no matter how big or small, has to do industrial advertising. Say a company makes coffee powder. It will sell that powder to distributors, who will then sell it to stores, wholesalers, and big businesses that have coffee machines for their employees. Companies that make any kind of goods can advertise to other businesses. This includes companies that make raw materials, machines that other businesses use, spare parts for machines that make them work, and so on.

Types of media used in industrial advertising

  1. Print media and direct marketing are the main types of advertising used in this field.
  2. Print media includes things like newspapers, trade magazines, business magazines, technical journals, and more. There are some things you should and shouldn’t do with print media to make it work well:

  4. People should want to read the ad because it should be so interesting.
  5. Not the way the service or product is being sold, but the thing itself that should be the focus.
  6. Make it easy to read the ad (with no difficult fonts)
  7. The picture shouldn’t have nothing to do with the product.
  8. The ad should show how the company is seen.
  9. If the ad is two or more pages long, the pages should be in a way that makes sense.
  10. Headlines should be interesting and fit the image of the product.
  11. Finally, the company name, address, and phone number of the office should always be written clearly at the bottom of the page.

Phone-Based Advertising: This type of advertising involves calling customers or leaving messages on their cell phones, among other things.

Online advertising includes things like companies sending emails to customers or other businesses with information about their goods and services, putting up banners online, letting people shop online, and so on.

In addition to trade shows, expos, and fairs, advertisers also use other methods to get the word out about their goods.

So, businesses can use any kind of advertising as long as it helps them reach their goal of increasing sales, making the best products, keeping good relationships with customers, and so on.
