  • SMERA, also known as ‘The SME Rating Agency’, was established by the Ministry of Finance, Government of India, and the Reserve Bank of India to assist Indian MSMEs in growing and obtaining credit by providing banks with independent and impartial credit opinions. SMERA provides SME Ratings, New Enterprise Credibility Scores, SME Credit Due Diligence, and the SME Trust Seal to Indian MSMEs to assist lenders in making educated judgments.
  • SMERA is a collaboration between SIDBI, Dun & Bradstreet Information Services India Private Limited (D&B), and many top banks in the nation. SMERA is the country’s first rating agency that specializes on the Indian MSME sector. SMERA has finished 7000 ratings.
  • SMERA is currently a completely owned subsidiary of Acuité Ratings and Research Limited. Acuité, a credit rating agency registered with SEBI, is a cooperative endeavor of the Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI), Dun & Bradstreet Information Services India Private Limited (D&B), and renowned public and private sector banks in India.
